Demonstrated sound experience and knowledge at all levels from sales, install and post.Steve (sales) managed to answer and respond to all my curious questions. I knew exactly what I getting for my money and this made the journey much smoother. Lindsay/Cameron and the apprentices did a nice, neat install. I also needed to get my meter box upgraded – I was impressed to how Lindsay took the extra time to teach one of the apprentices the tips of how to do the task in such a positive manner. We chose Sure Solar after reviewing a dozen system configurations with different price points and features from 3 suppliers. We wanted a quality system with a good return on investment. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the pros and cons of all the options. I would highly recommend Sure Solar. We had a 5.8kw system installed in March and are loving the benefits already. We went with Phono panels, a SunGrow inverter and LG battery. Steve Leaman, the technical sales advisor is by far the BEST person in the solar business that I spoke to while doing my research. Steve was able to explain everything perfectly and answered all my questions - and there were plenty! Steve was very informed and offered the best assistance. It was his professionalism and knowledge that made me go with Sure Solar. He really is the best in the business. The many other competitors I spoke to where not even close to matching his knowledge and friendliness. The install was done by Wanted Electrical. The job was done quickly and with a minimal amount of fuss, though the workmanship was a little messy due to the persistent rain. They did their absolute best in the conditions and worked around the rain so all I had were a few muddy fingerprints to wipe up. The handover was completed by Daniel, the Operations Manager and again I was highly impressed by the professionalism and knowledge. All my questions were answered and the final set-up was nice and easy! Thanks again to the team for a great experience.

SureSolar Mike (Bribane) was extremely helpful during a number of phone conversations which started within two days of my asking for quotes from SolarQuotes- faster than the other two companies. During the first conversation, sitting at my PC, I was emailed Nearmap images of different configurations, and an Excel Generation and Savings spreadsheet which we could work on together. The other two companies' approach was far less sophisticated, although one offered a similarly-priced configuration. The others also had a rather cavalier approach to dealing with my necessary meterbox upgrade.

After requesting quotes from solarquotes.com.au. I was contacted by Steve Leaman, a positive, persistent and personable salesman from Sure Solar Pty Ltd. Steve really took the time and went the extra mile to ensure I was really happy with the solar package he tailored for our household. As I was dealing with a sales person I double checked everything Steve said and I was satisfied I was dealing with a competent and well informed individual. The system we went for includes a 10kw inverter and 13.9kw on the roof. We average 80kwh on sunny days and haven't dropped under 40kwh on overcast days. The after sales service from Peter was also excellent and the installer, also named Peter, was professional and accommodating. In all we are very happy with our new solar system and also the service provided by the team at Sure Solar.

Sure Solar were on time, as promised with excellent quality sales and install crew that were courteous, helpful and respectful. The only solar seller to recommend several days of reading of our meter to ensure our power needs/savings were accurately estimated. Of the 5 sellers we engaged with, this and one other company were the only companies to offer a pre-on site inspection to ensure job correctly scoped and nothing was missed in the install and avoid any surprises, down the track. Above all they were on time, [installed and commissioned within 2 weeks of signing] with good notices in the lead up to the install. Overall good comms; knowledgeable, on target for price, patient with us and excellent customer service all round. Would recommend highly.

We are very Happy with our panels we had to replace our old 8 panels & 1.5inverterWe are on the 52c a kw rebate so we had to stay on the 1.5kw & only have 4 Panels now so we can still receive the big rebate & we are more than happy with the rebate we are receiving thanks to Sure Solar for doing that for us at a very reasonable price.Definitely worthy of 5 stars.

Would have no problem recommending Sure Solar to anyone. The process from quoting stage with Jason to install was seamless. The pricing was very sharp and the quality of workmanship was excellent. Also they used quality components and the installation boys did an amazingly neat and tidy job on a extremly hot January day in Brisbane. These guys are great! Exceptional customer service! I highly recommend them!They are thorough and honest and committed to getting you what you need in a system. They went above and beyond what I would expect from a regular solar company. From start to finish I couldn't have asked for more. We had a tricky old unit but they got the job done for us.Steve from the sales team was patient and waited several months while we went through a research phase, checked in every so often and was happy to answer questions. I didn't feel pressured and in the end it was their creative solutions that won me over.We had an older unit with an older meter so we needed a meter box upgrade first. They were very clear in what we needed to do ourselves and what they would do. Their head electrician was very knowledgeable and I felt confident with his advice and workmanship.On the day of the install they were very professional, they walked me through the Inverter app and how the system worked.They needed to come back and make a few small changes to the meter as we had a complicated set up with our neighbours in our complex, they did it without fuss and in a timely manner.The system that they installed is now putting us in credit with our energy company, though this is something you need to work out with you supplier.I am very happy and would gladly do it all again with Sure Solar.THANK YOU !!!!

Sure solar did a great job on my install. From start to finish they were great, the sales director Steve is a great guy to deal with, he first spoke to me Many months before I installed solar because I was building a new house. He offered me several different options helped me understand solar a little more and explained a few traps other companies are using to offer products cheaper but with no follow up on warranties and by using cheap installers after doing my research it was very clear!! And it made it a easy decision to go with sure solar.steve was always available to answer any questions or concerns and help me sort out many things related to the solar and even help me out by pointing me in the right direction in regards to other new build related power problems. In the end Steve had to make a customized solar system for me because of the roof lines being unable to hold it all on one side, but he was happy to give me a few different options and never tried to up sell me an extra product that I didn't need, I couldn't be happier with the service they have given me.The installers were very particular and thorough even after a long day they were still working at 4.30pm and still making sure it was perfect even moving panels lower on the roof line after they had set them because they wanted them to not be seen from the other side of the roof as you came up the driveway and going to the extent of loosening a clamp to straighten it so it ran perfectly straight with the panel. Small things that really show how good the team is even after a long day.Thanks guys you did a great job

Sure solar were excellent to work with, iron out the issues and in conclusion we ended up with a system we are happy with.Initially we would have preferred sales to visit us on location to assess our requirements and then provide a quote, not assess via Google maps. The subcontractor, who is local to our area, provided an alternative and together with Sure Solar, the end result was the better option. Costing us a little extra did prove to be beneficial.The last two accounts from our provider have been a sizeable credit - how great not to have to pay an electricity bill. If this continues the system will have paid for itself in just over 4 years.

I haven't contracted Sure Solar due to my own specific product requirements, but they still easily earned my five stars.With many enquiries, it became clear that Steve Leaman cared about the system being tailored to me and my needs, rather than simply promoting whatever the company needs to sell off at the time. Steve was patient, guiding me in detail with every question I had.Despite very specific product desires, I wanted to find a way to use Sure Solar due to Steves great help, however the products I wanted could only be had elsewhere.Sure Solar saved me from making big mistakes with another system I had been quoted on, which wound up to be a very bad setup for me.From my experience with Steve, it seems that Sure Solar places a high importance on customer experience, which I think is a good indicator of what customers can expect when choosing Sure Solar for their install.

Purchased a large 18kW system with battery unit from them over a year ago. The sales and engineering team done an excellent job going through a variety of potential options to ensure I got the best system to meet our needs with a competitive price. The install quality was top notch with all cable work neat and tidy and the place left clean and tidy. Unfortunatly one of the inverters failed recently but the Sure Solar team were quick to assist and replaced under warranty without having to fill in forms or anything else. After sales service is excellent. 100% would recomend using them to anyone.

I give Steve Leaman 5 stars for his assistance and time in helping choose the right specs and answering my questions over 12 months or so while we were arranging our house build.4 stars overall because of installation delays and lack of communication from the office. The installers arrived on time (Monday morning 0730), I was told there wasn't enough time allocated for my job (33 panels). Was advised the office would contact me that week to advise of the next day they could return to finish but didn't hear anything until I chased them up on the Friday. Day 2 of the install eventually happened 2 weeks after the first day. I was then told the office would contact me regarding setting up the app for the inverter on my phone but a week later and still haven't heard a thing.

Quick install, it did take 8weeks to go from paid deposit, until installation day. Faulty inverter, didn’t even get to the end of day one, a system installed but not working. Alpha ESS 5. It will be replaced, however it’s a step back. See what happens from here. Good team of hard working young lads, all done before 2pm. Update to come re faulty inverter.Suggestion is to have parts to go, in case of such an event

Over 2 months since final fit off requested and still no working system due to faulty inverter. Can’t comment on the quality of the product other than say it won’t work yet. Customer service from Jason m has been fantastic during the early process but now that it is out of his hands no one seems to be interested as they do not get back with updates on replacement for faulty inverter. At this stage could not recommend for service and quality of product as it ain’t working yet. NB: new system and nearly all monies paid

Options for Installing Solar Batteries in your Home

When installing a solar battery storage system you have the option of choosing from DC coupled, AC coupled, and Hybrid batteries. You can also choose to retrofit batteries, but if you are purchasing a new system and not choosing to install a battery system at the time, you could buy a hybrid inverter so that you can choose to install a battery system in the future. At this stage, solar power batteries are a fairly expensive system to install in your home. We want to take some time to explore what type of battery storage system is right for you and how you can make the right choice for your home’s power needs.

Note: At this stage, solar battery systems are still fairly expensive. They do not pay for themselves quickly like other system (solar hot water, for example); and even if you use your batteries to full capacity you will only save around $400 per year on your power bill. A battery system can cost around $10,000 to retrofit to your existing solar setup and can add about the same amount to a new solar install.

if you are looking to install a solar battery system purely for the savings you are not going to get a huge return. But if you are looking for the convenience and peace of mind of having a backup battery with power, then this might be an option for you. Fit a Solar Battery System to your Existing Solar Power System

If you have an existing system and are looking to get a battery system installed, all you need to do is invest in an inverter, a meter, and the battery. A battery system works by converting DC power from your batteries into AC power for your home. It also works in the reverse, converting AC power from your home to DC power for your batteries.

A retrofit does not necessarily give you the ability to do backup power for your home.
The best time to store power is when you are producing excess power, and the best time to use your stored power is when your solar panels are not matching your energy use.

Does Every Solar Power Battery System Come with Backup Power Capability?

A battery does not automatically mean that you have access to backup power in your home. You do need to ensure you have an automatic transfer switch in place which will turn off in a power outage and turn back on when your grid power is back up and running.
